Website Traffic – 4 Great Tips to Get the Right Visitors.

One of the main problems with website traffic is attracting the right visitors to your site. You want visitors who are looking for what you are offering.

This should be your priority.

It is better to get 100 visitors each day that are looking for your product than 1000 who aren’t.

So how do you go about getting the right traffic to your site?

1. Use Targeted Keywords

Using targeted keywords is going to help your cause big time. You may think that this goes without saying, well then it may surprise you to know that a lot of people use incorrectly targeted keywords in their blogs. A great way to find out if Google knows what your blog is about is to ask them.

There are keyword tools such as Noble Samurai, is available online and will tell you what people are searching for each month, and even how many searches are being made on each keyword in a month.

2. Relevant Content

This may seem obvious, however it’s easy to get off track when you are blogging. Stay on task and only include content that is relevant to your niche. If you are stuck, simply use Google and do a search on your chosen niche. Visiting article sites will give you some great ideas too, however never copy and paste. Rewrite the article in your own words, or pay somebody to do this for you. If you want to work with integrity, then this is a must.

3. Links

Work on building links back to your website. This can be done through social media, social bookmarking, article submissions and much more. Getting a good level of back links can take time but it’s certainly worth the effort. You can also encourage your visitors to subscribe to the RSS feed on your blog or build a Squidoo lens or a hub page and link it back to your blog for some back links too.

4. Tracking

You can track where your visitors are coming from and this can give you valuable information about what they are searching for. For example, you will learn what keywords they used to get to your site and which site they came from.

Without the right website traffic, you are wasting valuable time and your sales will be low. If you follow the tips outlined above however, you will begin to see an increase in your website traffic.
